Modalis Bike is a self-service electric bike rental service. It aims to promote train-bike intermodality by offering TER (regional express train) passengers a sustainable mobility solution as soon as they get off the train, as well as at various strategic locations in the towns of Cognac and Châteaubernard.
It's a secure service, available 24/7, by the minute, hour, or day, and offers preferential rates for TER, regional bus, and local transport network pass holders.
A station is located 50 meters from the hotel, just outside the train station.
Actions for the planet & Waste sorting
- The hotel is equipped with energy-efficient light bulbs. The hallway lights switch on automatically. The exterior lights are also automatic, except in the parking lot, where they switch off automatically at midnight. Please remember to turn off the lights and television when leaving your room. Thank you.
- The rooms are heated or cooled by a heat pump, which is a very energy-efficient heating/cooling method. Don't forget to turn off the thermostat when you leave.
- For guest stays: To reduce laundry, we suggest you choose the frequency of linen changes:
-Bathroom: Linens left in the bathtub or shower will be changed.
-Bed: Bed linens are changed every six days, but you can ask reception to change this frequency.
